Our
commitments

Since our creation, we have been committed to working with trusted partners, a guarantee of quality. Continually looking for new alternatives that are more ecologically, ethnically and humanly responsible. Currently, we buy 100% of our materials and accessories in Europe and France. With each new season, we strive to do our best to offer you quality pieces, respecting strict standards of respect for the environment and people.

It is also essential for us to work with suppliers of expertise and labeled OEKOTEX.

Since 2019, we have brought all of our production sites closer to limit the footprint on the environment, by working with two Tunisian workshops, which are themselves audited every year to ensure the well-being of our manufacturers and labeled OEKOTEX. Workshops specializing in corsetry and swimwear that support our entire ICONE team in the development of collections.

France is in the spotlight

Passionate about materials, we pay particular attention to the choice of our fabrics. It is important to us to highlight our "TRICOLOR KNOW-HOW".
We work with renowned lacemakers such as Sophie Hallette, an international reference in the art of French lace and tulle.

The little anecdote : Catherine Middleton, for her wedding, wore an Alexander McQueen dress entirely made of lace from Sophie Hallette !

RECYCLED FOR THE SWIM

Our swim line contained 50% recycled fabrics from 2020, to exceed 80% in 2021. Labeled GRS (Global Recycled Standard), we guarantee you recycled textiles with respect for environmental and social criteria. These pieces are made with a polyester fiber made from plastic waste collected in the oceans : SEAQUAL. It is one of the most certified eco-friendly fibers in the world.

PACKAGING

Because it would be ironic to use plastic polybags for our merchandise, we decided to use bio-sourced, 100% bio-degradable polybags. These polybags are also used for our customer packaging and during our sub-packaging with our Tunisian partner workshops.
You will find a slight smell of grilled corn on your lingerie when you open your package, but don't worry, it will disappear as soon as you wash or air it ! Phew !

GOTS is the international reference label for organic textiles, especially for organic cotton. It is a standard that is committed to a textile processing chain that respects the environment and social standards.
The label not only focuses on sustainability, but also imposes strict rules and guidelines for all companies participating in the value chain. The label guarantees the customer that the product is produced in a socially responsible and environmentally friendly way. Only textile products containing a minimum of 70% organic fibers can be GOTS certified.

OUR GOTS LABELED COTTON

The chemical inputs used, such as dyes and additives, must comply with a number of environmental and toxicological criteria. Production and processing systems must also comply with environmental rules. A functioning sewage treatment facility is mandatory.
The label brings together the International Association Natural Textile Industry, the Soil Association, the Organic Cotton Association and Ecocert.
In an ever more responsible approach, we have chosen to use GOTS cotton for our PIA homewear collection in 2019, and we will continue to use GOTS cotton for our next homewear line and for all our panty bottoms.
